It’s Time For Personalized Care

Our Team

Meet Michelle.

Hi, I’m Michelle, founder of Moms in Motion PT. I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus. I am saved by grace, forgiven, and free. I am married to an amazing man and mom to two sweet girls. I believe that Moms in Motion PT is where God has called me to serve, and I take my mission seriously. I sincerely care about your body and health and want to help you reach your goals. I am an athlete, and I became passionate about helping other moms after rehabbing my body after the birth of my first daughter.

Getting back into exercise after having a baby is really hard! I want to help you get your body back after having a baby - not in a bounce back type of way - but to experience the freedom when you are no longer leaking, to feel confident in your body when your ab separation is gone, to stop questioning what exercises you should or shouldn’t do. I love helping women stay active throughout pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and all walks of life!

I had quite a different birth experience with my second daughter because I knew so much more about birth and postpartum recovery. I took a much more comprehensive childbirth education class and had a lot more knowledge about the process of birth. I also hired a doula (highly recommend!) I felt more empowered to make decisions during labor and pushed my baby out in the position where I felt most comfortable at the time - hands and knees. I was not listening to the “coaching” of the nurses, but listened to my own body instead. I want you to feel this kind of power when you tune into your own body and make decisions that feel aligned for you.

I recognize the large gap in care for postpartum women in our healthcare system. When I had my first daughter, my only follow up visit was a phone call at 6 weeks. This is not okay! I seek to fill this gap in care by providing in-home pelvic therapy for busy moms. Getting out of the house when you have kids can be tough, so I want to take that roadblock out of the equation. As a mom, I know we don’t always put ourselves first and it can be hard to prioritize getting to appointments, but this way, your appointment comes to you and your kids can be there too!

I grew up in rural Iowa but have lived in the Twin Cities for more than 10 years. I went to Bethel University for my Athletic Training degree and then earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University. The cold weather, traffic, and my handsome husband called me back to MN ;)

When I’m not wearing my PT hat, you can find me homeschooling our kids, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with family and friends. I love being active, and I’ve run a handful of marathons and completed several triathlons. In the past 4 years, I’ve become a big lover of weight lifting. I love to travel to new places with my husband and daughters. Together, we enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, and gardening. My husband and I enjoy attending and serving at our church.

Meet Courtney.

Hi, I’m Courtney, I am a Pelvic Floor Therapist at Moms in Motion. I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, and mom of a toddler boy! We currently live in Prior Lake, MN and I love serving women in the south metro! I grew up in Lamberton, a small town in southwest Minnesota. I attended South Dakota State University for undergrad and then went to Creighton University for my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. I also completed a health coaching certificate through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition that I love incorporating into my sessions.

I believe treating holistically makes a big difference in women’s lives. You are not just a pelvis, and not even just a whole body, but a whole person! Addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects are essential to getting to the root cause of your symptoms and helping restore you to full health.

I was interested in the field of pelvic health starting in OT school, and my passion continued to grow during my own pregnancy and postpartum journey.  I am passionate about using a holistic approach, incorporating movement and food as medicine. I strive to create individualized care plans that fit your needs and schedule, so that it feels fun and not just another thing to check off your to do list.

I serve the southwest metro area including Apple Valley, Bloomington, Burnsville, Chanhassen, Chaska, Eagan, Eden Prairie, Edina, Inver Grove Heights, Lakeville, South Minneapolis, Prior Lake, St. Paul, and Victoria.

When not working you can find me enjoying all Minnesota has to offer. I love spending my free time outside exploring with my family or friends, hiking, going to a yoga or barre class, checking out coffee shops, reading, learning about women’s health + hormones and gut heath, and testing out new sourdough recipes!

Meet Kelli.

Motherhood has been the greatest and most challenging role of my life. It has taught me resilience, patience, humility, and the importance of caring for ourselves so we can care well for the people we love. I truly believe women deserve support, education, and compassionate care as they navigate the many changes their bodies experience.

I grew up in Burnsville, MN. I attended St. Catherine University for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I have worked as a PT for over 20 years in various settings. Working with clients in their home setting is a great way to understand the unique circumstances and challenges they face, and I love problem-solving how to help people achieve their goals. As a physical therapist, my goal has always been to help people return to the activities they enjoy and live life to the fullest. I feel the Lord led me to this position to help other moms do exactly that.

At Moms in Motion PT, I love walking alongside women as they heal, regain confidence in their bodies, and return to the activities they love. It is a privilege to support moms during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Hi, I’m Kelli, a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist at Moms in Motion PT. I am passionate about helping women feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies through every season of life.

My journey into motherhood and faith has deeply shaped who I am both personally and professionally. My high school sweetheart led me to the Lord nearly 30 years ago, and we’ve now been married for over 20 years. We’ve been blessed with four wonderful children—a daughter and three sons—who keep life full, busy, and meaningful.

Like many women I work with, my story also includes unexpected challenges. Our family has experienced the heartbreak of losing a newborn and several miscarriages. Walking through those seasons gave me a deeper understanding of the emotional, physical, and spiritual hardships that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Because of those experiences, I have a deep compassion for the women and families I serve.

I serve our southeast metro including but not limited to Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan, Rosemount, Farmington, Lakeville, Richfield, Inver Grove Heights, and St. Paul.

When not working, I love hanging out with my family. We are a homeschooling family. We also are highly involved with our local church. Our family loves going up north, cheering on our sports teams and all things Disney. My personal hobbies include exercise, running, gardening, cooking, and reading.

Meet Stephanie.

Hello! I am Stephanie, one of the Patient Care Coordinators here at Moms In Motion PT. I live in Richfield, and am a mother to four amazing children. I’ve had quite an unexpected career path, but I am so happy to be in this role that aligns perfectly with my life today.

I grew up on a very large hobby farm about an hour north of the Twin Cities, where we grew most of our own food and had 30 acres to freely roam! It was here that I found my foundation with a deep appreciation for nature, a love of animals, and a passion to help people. I moved to Saint Paul to attend Macalester College, where I received a BA in Biology and Chemistry. I continued with my graduate studies at the U of M Saint Paul, further expanding my knowledge in the sciences and medicine.

Outside of work, you will most often find me enjoying time with my children, our many pets, and my dear friends. My faith and church life are central to our family. I love spending time outdoors year-round as much as possible; I might be gardening, hiking, camping, or just marveling in the wonder of creation. Indoors, I enjoy from-scratch cooking and baking, reading, playing board games, or working on one of my many creative pursuits such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and quilting. I’m honored to have even received ribbons from the Minnesota State Fair! Additionally, I find joy in volunteering, especially in work that supports children and youth.

I am passionate about person-focused, patient-informed, whole body holistic care! This passion stems from my personal experience -- both as a patient navigating a complex medical history, and as a caregiver for special needs children with complex medical issues as well. It can be really hard to feel treated as a whole person—body, mind, and spirit, in our increasingly specialized and fragmented medical system. It can be hard to assert your ideas and knowledge of your body in the brief appointments most medical providers have to keep. But these are essential components on the journey to health!

This is why Moms In Motion PT is the perfect fit for me. The holistic approach here aligns with my belief that women should be empowered to know and care for their bodies – not just striving to be “not sick,” but to truly enjoy vibrant health! It is my pleasure to be a part of this team.

The man has short dark hair and is holding a young girl in a brown and black checkered shirt and jeans. The background features numerous green Christmas trees and a forested area.

Hi, I’m Hannah and I am a Patient Care Coordinator here at Moms in Motion PT. I live in Buffalo, Minnesota with my amazing husband, two boys, and our highly energetic golden retriever. I am a former teacher turned stay-at-home mom, and am so thankful for the time I get to spend at home with my little ones. Some things that fill my soul: my love for the Lord, a cup of coffee, early morning quiet time, going on walks, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, playing volleyball, any combination of chocolate and peanut butter, and spending quality time with the people I love!

I graduated from Bethel University in 2015 with a degree in elementary education and went on to teach for over nine years as both a kindergarten and first-grade teacher in various districts and states. Teaching holds an incredibly special place in my heart, and I still miss it deeply. Education is a family affair for us, as my husband is also a passionate teacher and coach of various sports, Buffalo football being the most prominent (we are a Friday night lights family - Go Bison!)

My passion for women’s health first emerged when my husband and I were living in Iowa. We began trying to grow our family in 2021 and quickly found ourselves in the unexpected world of infertility and recurrent loss. I experienced three early miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy, and a second trimester loss. Through such an incredibly dark and weary season, I came to better understand how God designed my body and the importance of getting to the root of my symptoms. I began seeing a chiropractor who taught me about the nervous system, the pelvic floor, and how symptoms can be clues to deeper imbalances. After working with my doctor and several holistic providers, we were able to get and stay pregnant, and now have two beautiful boys who remind us of God’s healing and kindness every day.

I know each of you brings a unique and meaningful story, and it’s truly an honor to be a voice on the other end of the phone as you courageously share it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you, helping you better understand who we are and how we can support you at Moms in Motion PT. It’s a gift to play even a small role in your journey toward healing, and I’m so thankful to be part of this team. I can’t wait to talk with you more!

Get started with Moms in Motion, today.
